What you will have an opportunity to do:

Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable Agent is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role plays a key part in the financial health of the organization by ensuring cash flow is optimized and records are maintained with precision. Key Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner. - Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and follow up on overdue payments. - Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies. - Apply payments to customer accounts accurately. - Collect and post group deposits.  - Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications. - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues. - Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status. - Assist with month-end closing and audits as needed. - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

What are we looking for?

  • Someone with a College degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Someone with extensive knowledge of a hotel Front Office system preferred.
  • Someone with an understanding of POS systems and how they maintain & process information desired.
  • Someone with advanced computer skills, with a focus on accounting
  • Someone with knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to formulas, VLook-Ups, Pivot Tables and If/Then
