Job Summary:

The Event Experience Beverage Host is responsible for execution and delivery of the Four Diamond level of service and food and beverage department operation through hosting and executing private team building events and property wide activities as needed.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

• This is an On Call position.

• $30.00 per hour. 

•  Availability, Mon-Thurs from 4pm-9pm, with the occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Guest Experience by hosting food and beverage team building activities. Engage guests to play a more active role in learning and creating unique culinary & beverage experiences as a team.

• Actively participate in the generation of ideas to impact positively on guest experience and to assist in the implementation of these ideas.

• Regularly attend preparatory meetings pre-event with Event Experience & Beverage Manager/Sommelier, Banquet Captain, & Event & Meetings Manager in regard to the event.

• Provide timely feedback on success level of events, advising if alternate event arrangements or beverage offering should be made in the future.

• Must maintain executive presence with professional grooming, attire, and footwear as well as the ability to speak and present in a professional manner.

• Assist Banquet team with set-up/tear down of event as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in bartending & updated Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Certification.

• Strong public speaking, guest engagement and communication skills.

• Strong background in food and beverage terminology and presentation. Including food and beverage pronunciation and description to converse and lead guests in culinary & beverage focused, team building activities. 

• Minimum first (introductory) level of Court of Master Sommeliers Certificate or WSET.

• Excellent computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office required
