Job Title:            Investment Banking ECM Analyst

Reports to:         Co-Head of Investment Banking

Location:            New York

Department:      Investment Banking

Salary Range:    $110,000-$125,000

This is an opportunity to become a key member of a world-class investment banking practice focused on companies in the healthcare industry.  The successful candidate will provide support to the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team to execute a wide array of equity and equity-linked financings, including initial public offerings, follow-ons, structured deals and convertible debt transactions. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute transactions as an Analyst on the ECM team
  • Interact directly with current and prospective clients
  • Work closely with broader investment banking team to coordinate all aspects of existing client management, new business origination and deal execution

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • One or more years of relevant experience in investment banking
  • BS or BA with an exemplary academic record
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, team-oriented work environment
  • Series 79 and Series 63 licenses preferred; required to obtain if not currently licensed upon joining
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
