Summary/Objective
The Receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping. The receptionist also makes outbound calls to potential customers.


Essential Functions
1. Fluent in Spanish/English
2. Assists with administrative tasks.
3. Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
4. Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person.
5. Operates listed office machines as required.
6. Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
7. Duplicates and distributes materials.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Part-time may be considered. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
