Our Order Fulfillment Center (OFC) in McDonough, GA, is hiring for a full-time General Warehouse, Receiving position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Demonstrated proficiency in relative level one positions which include:
  • Complete assigned workload according to procedures to meet or exceed department productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Effectively utilize system resources and equipment to process workload.
  • Responsible for following the established procedures of receiving and staging of product for both freight and small parcel
  • Identify and communicate issues that would negatively impact customer service, safety, team work, and/or the profitability of the company.
  • Assist other departments and employees as necessary.
  • Cross Training in bulk and prime Putaway.  Retail Picking, and any other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Operate powered equipment per company safety policy and guidelines.
• Assist other departments and employees as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with all appropriate personnel; Customer Service, Leadership, Sales, Data Entry and other OFC Departments to ensure accuracy of inventory, maximize production / efficiency, minimize errors, and ultimately increase customer service.
• Verify product and quantity for receipt from vendors.  Ensure product is properly packaged and labeled per SRE’s procedure.  Appropriately assigned product to the correct zone for optimal operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and understand English and perform basic math.
• Comfortable using technology, including scanners and computers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, twist, and lift up to 70 lbs. consistently.
• Ability to walk extensively throughout the shift.
• Equipment experience is a plus but not required—we provide training!

Pay Rate: $17.70 Hourly
