Required Education and/or Experience:
Earned Bachelor's degree;
A minimum of one-year work experience working in an administrative or research support capacity is required;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Previous work experience in a higher education institution.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
General Office Support
Regularly assists with office staff in the creation, analysis, and synthesis of data needed for producing reports and recommendations;
Accurately researches internal and external policies and procedures and regulations and laws concerning higher education;
Manages the front desk of the Provost’s Office;
Assists other office staff, AVCs, and Provost on projects;
Provides assistance to the Curriculum & Special Projects Manager and Provost Chief of Staff on the Academic Affairs event calendar and any events hosted by the Provost’s Office.;
Prepares and distributes routine physical and electronic communications at the direction of other office staff, AVCs, and the provost;
Route paperwork for signatures.
Record, Data, and Inventory Management
Maintains electronic and physical files of the Provost’s Office;
Performs annual Provost’s Office asset and electronic inventory;
Assists with routine webpage updates under the direction of the Provost’s Chief of Staff.
Budget, Finance, and Purchasing
Orders Office Supplies including any technology needs;
Submits and tracks requisitions for furniture, technology, and supplies under the direction of the Provost Office Finance Director;
Obtains and submits bids for office supplies
Contact vendors for quotes for services such as furniture, technology, etc.;
Collaborates with the Provost Finance Director on budget, finance, and purchasing;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with Workday, Canva, and Wordpress.
