High School diploma/GED plus two (2) years of experience in performing tests in a research laboratory required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Basic knowledge of molecular biology, aseptic tissue culture, and capable of handling mouse and rabbit. Be familiar with Microsoft Office software.
Ability to keep organized records and notes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with college-level coursework in biology, chemistry, and biochemistry, and/or cell biology. Previous experience of working with rabbits is preferred.
2 plus years of experience working in a research laboratory related to molecular biology or cell biology, proficient in working with mice or rabbits
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, including preparation, maintenance, and organization of research spaces, equipment, supplies, and inventory.
Conduct and support molecular and cell biology experiments, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with research protocols.
Provide care and handling of laboratory animals, with preference for candidates experienced in working with rabbits and mice.
Perform other duties as assigned.
