Salary Range: Min $35.08 Mid $43.85 Max $52.61

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices.
  • Educate clients and their families on treatment plans, progress, and home exercises.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
  • Stay current with developments in speech-language pathology through continuing education.
  • Cross coverage SLP services at inpatient, swing bed and/or SNF as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Experience in outpatient or clinical settings is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in acute care settings preferred (for cross coverage needs).

Work Environment:

Primary- Outpatient hospital setting. May involve working with pediatric, adult, or geriatric populations and address: speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication and swallow disorders depending on clinic needs.
