What We Offer 

 

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $70,765 - $110,000/year, based on education and experience. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but is not limited to:

Denver International Airport’s Business Technologies team is looking for an IT Systems Administrator Associate to join the team. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with the Business Technologies (BT) Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Field Support team to provide customer support to resolve technical issues or implement requested services related to computer hardware and software, including desktop/laptop, peripherals, software installation, and conference room setup
  • Organize and oversee desktop/laptop hardware refresh lifecycle with vendor managed service; Work with vendor and DEN internal departments on replacement of aged hardware and coordinate installation efforts, involving other BT teams as needed
  • Provide technical support for desktop/laptop services in the field across the various office locations on the DEN campus. Includes RMA and device repair processes
  • Manage Microsoft Windows Imaging/ECM configuration. Work with internal team members to ensure our deployed assets match our customers’ needs and requirements
  • Asset Management – Work with our internal asset management team to track and update our assets across the airport
  • Vendor Management - Represents BT and DEN customers in meetings with hardware and managed services vendors to plan, develop, and procure technology solutions. May manage the ongoing performance/delivery of vendor services per service level agreements
  • May participate in the vendor selection process, which includes developing requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for information (RFI) and reviewing submitted bids from contractors
  • Manage and configure various MS Teams rooms
  • Act as a leader on various IT projects
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What You'll Bring

  • Dell Certified Technician
  • Service Desk Experience
  • SCCM/ECM Experience
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Windows workstation and server operating systems
  • PC Repair
  • Microsoft 365 Office productivity applications and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience working with a managed services vendor to ensure timely delivery of services and monitoring performance metrics to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Serve as a mentor to team members, providing training as necessary and building and maintaining trusted relationship with co-workers and vendors
  • Conference room/MS teams rooms support

 

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience: Two (2) years of professional Information Technology experience maintaining, implementing, and modifying information technology systems or work processing operations including system hardware and software
  • Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements
