Who We Are
The Warrants/Bonding Division for the City and County of Denver's, Denver County Court Marshal’s Office is seeking a Warrants and Bonding Supervisor. This critical position supervises on duty staff and coordinates the day-to-day activities of technical and/or paraprofessional workers engaged in providing support services to the Court, Law Enforcement, and other outside agencies.
The DCC
The mission of Denver County Court is to administer justice fairly, efficiently and effectively; provide excellent customer service, and foster a positive environment where employees enjoy their work. The City and County of Denver’s third branch of government is comprised of 19 judges, 3 full-time magistrates, and 300 staff members. Case types include state, municipal, civil, and traffic cases within the City and County of Denver. The Denver County Court proudly serves the community and continually seeks ways to incorporate procedural fairness and evidence-based practices.
The Division
The Denver Marshal’s Office is a law enforcement agency within the County Court and has overall responsibility for the apprehension of fugitives and all related functions associated with warrants issued by the Court. The Warrants/Bonding Division is responsible for managing all NCIC/CCIC data related to the work of the Court including entry, validation, confirming and cancelling warrants and protection order for the Criminal, General Sessions, Traffic and Civil Divisions of the Denver County Court. The Division also operates the Bonding Office that is located in the Downtown Denver Detention Center at 490 W Colfax Ave. The Warrants/Bonding Division operates 20 hours per day, seven days a week; including holidays; Staff work a hybrid of on-site and remote working hours depending on the operational needs of the Division.
What You'll Do
This supervisory position is responsible for supervising and directing the work of front-line personnel, coordinating shift coverage, handling personnel matters, and acting as a liaison between outside agencies and the Court. This position is part of a leadership team composed of three supervisors who equally share responsibility of managing on-duty personnel.
This position requires shift work necessary to provide proper supervision of operations that involve law enforcement and court interaction & bonding of inmates from custody. Supervisors are awarded duty shifts based on seniority and are expected to be available during irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Shifts may be extended in the event of emergency, disaster, personnel shortages, workload or work in progress. This position is normally a hybrid of on-site and remote working hours, however, may require full on-site presence depending on operational needs.

BACKGROUND CHECK: A FBI fingerprint based criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver County Court (DCC). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment.
