What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers competitive pay commensurate with education and experience. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $67,161.00 - $95,000.00. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

Location & Schedule
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to work on site at Denver International Airport’s Gateway office located at 4347 Airport Way. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.

Denver International Airport is looking for an Administrator I to join our DEN Real Estate team. With approximately 53 square miles of land area, DEN has the second largest land ownership of any airport in the world. DEN’s Division of Real Estate supports the airport’s core aviation mission by capitalizing on DEN’s size, opportunity for growth and centralized location, both nationally and globally, to create innovative, sustainable and economically beneficial commercial development of the airport’s non-aviation land.
In this role you’ll contribute to the success of DEN by joining a small and effective team of real estate professionals who are building an Airport City, with DEN at its center
Specifically, as the Administrator I you will:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Real Estate and the Real Estate team, including scheduling, meeting coordination, note-taking, travel planning, logistics, event organization, and creation of presentations and public outreach materials.
Manage team administrative operations such as monitoring multiple Outlook inboxes, responding to general voicemail/email inquiries, and coordinating with internal departments and the executive office on meetings, tasks, and events.
Coordinate task orders for on-call services, process invoices, track spending against contract capacity and the O&M budget, support procurement workflows, and facilitate annual budget submittals in coordination with the Finance department.
Serve as a purchase card holder; oversee all purchasing, invoice processing, budgeting support, and financial documentation.
Manage administrative responsibilities related to revenue agreements and contracts, including monitoring lease payments and license fees for DEN Real Estate agreements.
Oversee reporting needs and compile data for performance dashboards, visualizations, and division metrics.
Maintain and manage the division’s SharePoint site, SOPs, COOP plan, and internal dashboards.
Act as Authorized Signatory and administrative point of contact for airport security identification and badge renewals.
Coordinate land management and vendor compliance for 61st & Peña; support real estate transitions, tenant coordination, and onsite property management for 4347 Airport Way.
Serve as primary point of contact for special projects and manage unexpected, complex, or high-priority assignments with a proactive approach.
Support talent operations, employee travel processes, and implementation of new or revised administrative policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related degree
Prior experience coordinating programs or projects with tight deadlines and multiple priorities
Technical abilities with the Microsoft Suite, Teams and PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Excel. Aptitude for or experience with property and revenue management software such as PROPworks.
Experience working with revenue contracts and agreements
Experience managing and reporting on the status and milestones of various projects
Strong leadership, initiative, and communication competencies with a ‘can do’ attitude
Ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal oversight
Property management experience
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on a specific position(s).
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years’ experience performing full performance professional level duties within a specialized, functional area. (This does not include clerical experience.)
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
