Unit Description: The Registered Nurse administers nursing care within the scope of hospital policy and established standards of care and in accordance with the needs and/or wants of each patient. The RN develops and initiates the nursing care plan utilizing the nursing process.

The Registered Nurse collaborates/cooperates with nursing staff and other hospital/health care disciplines for promotion of health to obtain the optimal level of wellness for patients, family, and community.

Educations and Experience:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont - unrestricted.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Varied clinical background preferred
• Infusion experience required within the past 5 years.

On Call: Yes, minimal, 2 hr shift when call is needed.

Incentives: Per diem shift differential, $2/hour.
