GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the operational management of several divisions of the Laboratory. Responsibilities include goal setting, facilitating the activities of team members and coordination with Laboratory Administration and Laboratory Support and Diagnostic Teams. Monitors workload and test menus, collaborates for changes to the appropriate Medical Director, and develops and administers budgets for the division(s) for which responsible. The integration of the EPIC Beaker information system is a critical part of the position.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1.    Bachelor’s degree is required.
2.    Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management is preferred.
3.    Minimum of 6 years’ experience in healthcare with at least 1 year of laboratory experience is required.
4.    Minimum of 4 years' experience in a leadership position is required.
5.    Experience with laboratory information systems is required. 
6.    Must possess financial management skills and human resources management abilities. 
7.    Previous experience in quality assurance programs, budgeting and cost management and strategic planning.
8.    Demonstrates superior customer service and communication skills.
9.    Experience with Microsoft Office programs is required.
