JOB SUMMARY:

Receiving general direction from the Security Supervisor, Operations Manager, or Director, the incumbent shall assist in the planning, coordination and work of the Security Program. The Security Supervisor is a working position alongside the security officers providing a safe and secure environment for Hospital patients, visitors, and employees by enforcing Hospital policies and by continuously watching for and the timely report of any and all safety hazards or unusual occurrences through patrol of assigned areas; furthermore the incumbent; provides protective service and response for protection of the people and property of the hospital; is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of his/her assigned shift and shift personnel. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School graduate or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Must pass extensive background investigation.

• Attain Avade – Workplace Violence Prevention certification (Training provided by CVMC)

• Must have IAHSS Basic, Advanced, and Supervisor Certification to hold this position. (Training provided by CVMC)

• AED/BLS certification. (Training provided by CVMC)

EXPERIENCE:

Four years law enforcement, security, military or equivalent experience required.
