This position is responsible for performing CT scans to produce high-quality diagnostic images. They prepare and position patients, operate CT equipment, and ensure images meet diagnostic standards. CT Technologists collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, maintain patient records, and adhere to safety protocols. They must have a degree in Radiologic Technology, certification by the ARRT in CT, and NY state licensure. Strong patient care, technical skills, and attention to detail are essential for this role. The position may involve variable shifts and exposure to radiation and infectious diseases.
