JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Under the supervision of the Director of Support Services, the Security Manager (SM) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Security program at Porter Medical Center, Helen Porter Rehab, and satellite clinics, hereafter referred to as PMC. This includes oversight of Security staff, co-responding to requests for service, and performing administrative program work. The overarching goal is to protect the organization, its patients, employees and its organizational ability to effectively and resiliently respond to the needs of the communities and populations it serves.  The SM fulfills their duties in all areas of UVMHN-PMC and adheres to all applicable policies, regulations, guidelines, standards and best practices. 

EDUCATION: 
High School graduate or equivalent. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 

EXPERIENCE: 
Two or more years of fulltime security or law enforcement experience; supervisory experience; demonstrated leadership skills/training.
