The Nursing Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for the successful planning and execution of multiple projects to achieve Nursing, Information Services and UVM Health business objectives. The Nursing Program Coordinator is a specialist in project management, advanced administrative functions and may be assigned to high risk, complex, enterprise and cross-departmental projects. The incumbent may work with UVM Health Directors, Vice Presidents and project leaders from clinical, administrative and Information Services departments.

The Nursing Program Coordinator utilizes a structured methodology to plan and implement projects; and when required, analyzes organizational systems and processes and makes recommendations for operational improvements.  Additionally, this incumbent works closely with assigned System Directors and System Vice Presidents to assist with administrative functions.  This position will also work closely with the System Central Resource Management Team to support onboarding.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. *Will consider equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• 2 years of project management experience and executive administrative skills required.
• Strong experience in Nursing/Medical customer service preferred.
