Hiring Event – High Reach Forklift Operators ($22/hr) | On-the-Spot Offers

Join us at Lineage in Rochelle for a hiring event! We’re looking to fill multiple High Reach Forklift Operator positions and will be conducting interviews with on-the-spot offers.

Date: Thursday April 16th

Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: 600 Wiscold Dr, Rochelle, IL 61068

Shifts Available:

⭐ Friday–Sunday (Weekend Overnight – Most Openings!)
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Work just 3 days and have 4 days off during the week
Pay: $22.00/hr + $0.75 night shift differential

Monday–Thursday (Overnight – 4-day work week)
6:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Pay: $22.00/hr + $0.75 night shift differential

Friday–Sunday (Day Shift)
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $22.00/hr

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of recent high reach forklift experience
• Comfortable working in freezer/cooler temperatures
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Use stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment 
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system 
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device 
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) 

• Basic math skills  
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility 
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud   

Pay Range:$19.18 - $32.40
