The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build project plans from scratch using MS Project and Primavera P6
  • Analyze project data and visualize insights using Power BI
  • Track key contract and payment milestones
  • Collaborate with project teams to compile and deliver bid packages
  • Help develop smart project controls and metrics for better decision-making
  • Work with suppliers to build full-scope schedules with all milestones
  • Keep governance documents up to date and suggest improvements
  • Analyze variances and drive corrective actions
  • Own the planning process in Primavera P6 and Microsoft tools
  • Create and manage work breakdown structures aligned with project goals
  • Dive deep into risk analysis and resolve issues efficiently
  • Apply cost control techniques like EVM, change management, and pricing
  • Report progress, analyze data, and optimize project workflows
  • Coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors to align schedules and milestones
  • Use CPA and S-curves to monitor project health and resolve delays

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in project planning and or in a project management environment (bonus if it’s in manufacturing)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Passion for rail manufacturing and a proactive mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Power user of MS Office and Power BI for reporting and dashboards
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle and planning tools (Primavera P6 preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
