The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Insurance Verification Specialist II, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Verifying patient insurance coverage for new and backlogged orders to determine billing eligibility in compliance with payer requirements.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders including sales, customer service teams, and external providers to ensure timely qualification and order processing.
• Communicating financial responsibility details to patients and supporting documentation requests.
• Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while delivering exceptional service.
• Supporting rotating weekend and holiday schedules as needed to ensure continuity of care.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Three (3) years of healthcare experience
• Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Three (3) or more years of healthcare-related experience (e.g., insurance verification, medical billing, or payer communications)
• Ability to research and interpret payer guidelines to support insurance qualification decisions
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting with strong time management and self-discipline
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach

Travel: May include up to 2% domestic/international
