The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Solventum is currently seeking a Cloud Solution Engineering Team Lead to support work with the CodeAssist service. You will play a key role in building core software that processes over 50 million medical records per month. As a member of the team, you will be expected to help in all facets of software development, from planning to development to support. You will work closely with team members to determine the best way to solve challenging problems, and with other teams to integrate into a large and complex software solution. You should be able to work well in a small, fast-paced team while collaborating with product owners, subject matter experts, and customers. We write and maintain everything from large web-based applications to small scripts that make our data flow smoothly.

As a Cloud Solution Engineer Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead projects and initiatives to enhance and improve CodeAssist.
• Oversee architecture and lead development of software components based on requirements, architecture and design specifications.
• Gather requirements and specifications from other software engineers, clinical analysts, product owners, other team members and stakeholders to design and build required functionality
• Ensure that projects are finished on time and within cost constraints, communicate clearly to stakeholders any anticipated changes in a timely manner.
• Adhere to and evolve design and development procedures and standards

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university and 15 years of experience in software engineering
• High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience in software engineering

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also preferred

• 10 years in a software engineering role
• 10 years of experience with Perl or Python
• 5 years of experience working in a linux cloud environment
• 5 years of experience using git
• 2 years javascript/DOM programming

• Remote

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
