As a Manager, Update Services, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Enhancing Customer Experience: Deliver exemplary service to facilitate smooth implementation of Solventum software updates and improve client satisfaction.
  • Expansion of Service Portfolio: Annually enhance and diversify our service offerings within the HIS market by leveraging our existing portfolio.
  • Optimizing Service Delivery: Conducting system health checks and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Strategic Direction: Leads SUS services decision making to achieve long term goals.
  • Financial Performance: Collaborating closely with internal teams, including Customer Care and Support leadership, to optimize costs and drive growth.
  • Innovation & Change Management: Identifying opportunities to enhance service to remain competitive.
  • Leadership: Shape the culture and performance of SUS. Mentor and foster growth through mentoring and coaching team
  • Manage a team of both internal and third-party resources.
  • Support process improvements by documenting operational processes and best practices.
  • Assess and manage the mechanisms for providing exceptional reporting on performance of the service line.
  • Create long-term strategies for improved processes that are quality driven.
  • Exceed standards in meeting all client scheduled update service level objectives.
  • Drive quality initiatives that reduce process variability.
  • Identify service growth opportunities based on market conditions.
  • Develop content for sales and marketing to position service opportunities.
  • Represent Solventum in communications with external customers and internal customers related to Solventum Update Services.
  • Collaborate with Client Care, Development, and Product Owners to address technical concerns identified by Solventum clients utilizing SUS.
  • Lead and manage scheduling, application, and technology deployments to achieve outstanding results.
  • Assess opportunities for enhancing operational metrics to elevate customer satisfaction levels.
  • Establish best in market after-hours support as necessary for SUS clients.
  • Serve as the client escalation point for all clients in the program

Qualifications 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution and (7) seven years' experience in software services, vendor management, or project management in private, public, government or military environment

OR

High School Diploma/GED AND (14) fourteen years' software services, vendor management, or project management.in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
  • Experience in Health Information, and/or IT arena.
  • Experience in the Client Services/Client Care arena.
  • Experience in managing third party vendor business relationship.
  • Prior experience with IT service management tools like ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of internal Solventum HIS product portfolio
  • Managing third party vendor relationships
  • Prior experience working with International technical resources.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Copilot, Power BI and MS Power Point
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
  • Capable of maintaining effective and professional customer relations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must consistently maintain a high degree of positive motivation with a strong commitment to meet operational goals.

Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
