The Opportunity
About the Team
Data wins. At USAA, we're building a high-performance Data, Analytics, Monitoring & Tools (DAMT) program embedded within our P&C Underwriting and Product Development organization — and we need the talent to make it happen. The DAMT team is modernizing how we deploy models, enable pricing decisions, and re-architect the data and tooling ecosystem that powers our Pricing & Underwriting factory. This is not a back-office function, and it is not a finished one. We are in build mode — the problems are real, the path isn't always clear, and the teammates around you matter as much as the tools in your hands. If ambiguity energizes you, collaboration is your default, and you do your best work when the answer isn't obvious, this is your team.
Role Summary
Provides decision support through quantitative analysis, data synthesis, and problem solving. Supports near-term DAMT execution while building the skills to design and operationalize a scalable data-to-model-to-pricing implementation system. The essence of work involves gathering, manipulating, and synthesizing data (e.g., attributes, transactions, behaviors, etc.), models, and other relevant information to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in implementable strategies.
