Job Description

The UNR School of Medicine is seeking a student to join our UNR Med Student Affairs team. The position is supervised by the Learning & Wellness Coordinator and will support the UNR Med Wellness and Student Affairs teams. The hours will be flexible around school schedule, with no more than 10-20 hours worked per week during the regular school semester (Work-study students encouraged to apply).

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling rooms, set up and clean up of an event, and additional tasks as assigned in the UNR Med Learning & Wellness Resource Center

  • Coverage for the UNR Med LWRC during working hours (10am-3pm)

  • Support Wellness Counselor, Learning Specialists, and Learning & Wellness Coordinator as needed

  • Weekly walks to Pack Pantry to update resource list

  • General office duties such as cleaning/disinfecting surfaces, basic Microsoft Office and Canva projects as needed, and other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate must be a student at the University of Nevada, Reno

  • Candidate must maintain a 3.0 GPA

  • Candidate must have intermediate knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
