  • Seeking candidate interest primarily in Eastern NC, Appalachian Mount and KY regions, but open to other regions as well.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Ensures all programs for clinical employee orientation related to clinical technology and strategic initiatives that are presented/delivered comply with standards. Contributes to process improvements identified through training effectiveness. Supports the delivery of high quality of care for all patients through competency-based training and development.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for clinical technology training of all personnel.

  • Responsible for ensuring effective adult learning environments for all training programs.

  • Implements standardized clinical technology training programs to ensure policies, procedures and standards are consistently incorporated into facility practice. 

  • Collaborates with Clinical Leadership in the scheduling and implementation of clinical technology training programs and processes as directed.

  • Drives quality standards through the education of all ESRD related regulatory and legal requirements and the practice of Quality Assurance and Improvement/Continuous Quality Improvement. Supports clinical quality goals and action plans in order to achieve quality standards.

  • Tracks, collects, and reports on data on educational program effectiveness (i.e. CritLine, electronic documentation systems, Connected Health and other initiatives) as directed by Leadership.

  • Supports corporate management and leadership developmental programs as directed by Leadership.

  • Acts as a resource for Clinical Leadership in support of company and operational strategic initiatives.

  • Supports action plans as identified for clinics that display below threshold performance.

  • Responsible for managing travel expenses.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Day to day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with patients, facility staff and physicians. 
    • The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.

 SUPERVISION:

  • None

 EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

  • Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Science Nursing preferred.
  • Advanced education, Certified in Nephrology Specialty preferred.
  • Certified in Nephrology Specialty will be required within 18 months of assuming the position. 
  • CPR certification required.

       

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:          

  • At least 3 years of experience in dialysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, and decision making.
  • Must complete Management and Leadership training modules and ongoing training and development programs within the specified timeline.
