ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The purpose of this position is to prepare candidates to be competitive in today’s global workforce and manufacturing industry, in particular becoming machinists.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED.
The apprentice must be committed to the continual learning of the ever-changing trade and equipment.
This can be a combination of: Continued Structured training at tech school, On-the job training and on-line training courses.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Employee will work in a manufacturing environment. Must be able up to 40 lbs., standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, crouching, push/pull, and reach above shoulders.
