Global Commercial Controller, Flexible Packaging
Your opportunity
Huhtamaki’s Flexible Packaging segment is currently seeking an experienced Global Commercial Controller to join our Global Business Controlling team. In this role, you will partner with Sales, Global Key Accounts, and Commercial Excellence teams to deliver financial insights and reporting that accelerate profitable growth across the Flexible Packaging segment.
Reporting to the Head of Global Business Control, you will lead commercial reporting, pricing analytics, KPI management, and financial validation, while shaping the tools and processes that support our global commercial organization.

Where you’ll be
This role is based at our Espoo headquarters, with an on‑site presence of four days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
Act as a Finance co‑pilot to Sales, Global Key Accounts, and Commercial Excellence teams
Deliver insights and analytics that support target achievement and profitable growth
Develop Business Intelligence tools, robust reporting, and KPI management frameworks
Identify pricing opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
Conduct customer profitability reviews and product portfolio analyses
Support sales incentive plan design, target setting, and calculations
Manage receivables and overdue performance, including DSO and payment terms
Contribute to volume and net sales growth initiatives as a Finance Business Partner
Perform Volume/Price/Mix and other ad‑hoc analyses
Review and support credit policies
Ensure global alignment on sales controlling and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders
Lead benchmarking, analysis, and validation of financial information across sales, margin, profitability, and other commercial KPIs
Drive pricing management in collaboration with commercial teams
Play a key role in annual budget review, consolidation, and broader financial processes
Continuously enhance reporting structures, tools, and processes for the Commercial organization
Support contract management and review of current and future agreements
Deliver commercial reporting, including monthly sales analysis, estimates, and variance commentary for monthly review meetings
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance roles, with strong exposure to Commercial Finance
University degree or equivalent in Finance
Strong knowledge of pricing, costing, and profitability methodologies
Experience with ERP systems, OneStream, Business Intelligence tools, Excel, and other analytics platforms
Experience in packaging or manufacturing industries is highly desirable
Analytical and creative mindset with the ability to develop and implement new concepts
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives
Strong leadership, influencing skills, and a proactive, self‑starter mentality
Eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
Ability to work with urgency and perform under pressure
Capability to indirectly manage operations finance managers across units
Fluency in English
