Your opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Specialist to join our Group Accounting team.

You’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality statutory accounting and consolidation activities, contributing to timely, precise, and compliant financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise, support decision making, and contribute to continuous improvement across our finance operations.

Where you’ll be

You will be located at our Espoo HQ in Finland and should be within reasonable commuting distance from here. This is a primarily in-office role, with the flexibility of one remote day per week.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver assigned statutory Group accounting and consolidation activities, including preparation of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting, as well as journals, eliminations, checks, reporting extracts, and supporting documentation.

  • Prepare specified monthly statutory Group reports, as well as Interim and Annual Reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting deliverables.

  • Support Board of Directors and Audit Committee reporting in coordination with the Group Controlling team.

  • Coordinate reporting inputs, close data requests, audit support, and responses to BU finance queries.

  • Contribute to the improvement of documentation, controls, and processes, while building capability to provide backup support for key activities.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Master's degree in Accounting/Finance, with a couple years' experience in accounting and statutory reporting. Group accounting experience in a multi-national organisation is highly desirable.

  • Systems/ERP proficiency; consolidation exposure desirable.

  • Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.

  • Controls and documentation discipline.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.

  • Clear communication & collaboration, with excellent written and spoken English.
