Job Summary
This is a clinical leadership position that oversees both strategic planning and functional clinic operations. Works closely with providers, regional operation directors or chief operations officers and chief medical officers to assist in and offer oversight for leadership, direction, and administration of various operations to ensure accomplishment of clinic and organizational objectives. Works closely with the clinic administrator regarding the overall operation of multiple clinics and teammates.
Essential Job Functions
Actively aligned with Innova Care’s mission, vision, and values, and advocates for an inclusive culture. Strategic role with financial oversight of and budget for multiple clinics. Stays current with and communicates patient care and other patient data outcomes. Maintains and communicates clinic goals and goal status. Organizes, coordinates, and participates in clinic meetings. Develops relationships with extended team members such as pharmaceutical employees, medical agencies, specialists, hospitals, to ensure patients are referred to preferred service providers. Collaborates with Marketing regarding marketing plans – current and future. Works with the clinic administrator for drafting, distribution, and assessment of patient satisfaction endeavors. Drafts a summary to provide the regional director. Represents clinic at public and professional meetings and conferences. Review and initiates clinic communication and public relations programs. Initiates and participates in healthcare events. Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep pace with the trends in health care administration. Performs other related duties which may be inclusive but not listed in position job description. Works closely with the clinic administrators to ensure successful clinic operations and administration. Able to perform the duties of the Clinic Administrator role.
Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field required. (4 additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)
Four or more years of healthcare administration experience required, including one year of supervisory experience.
Computer and healthcare system literacy required.
Knowledge of health care administration, clinic philosophy and policies and operating procedures required.
Knowledge of fiscal management systems required.
Knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff
development required.
Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement standards required.
Knowledge of computer programs and applications required.
Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, decision making required.
Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationship with staff, Senior Management,
patients, vendors, payers, and public required.
Skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives required.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data required.
Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports required.
Ability to monitor compliance standards required.
