Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Mequon, WI
As a Human Resources Service Specialist I, you will provide knowledge, support, and high-touch service to candidates, employees, HR Partners, and managers throughout the employee life cycle. This role involves managing essential HR activities with accuracy and integrity, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. You will collaborate with HR Partners and Centers of Excellence (COE) to resolve cases promptly while also supporting talent acquisition, learning, and communications initiatives.
Associate's degree in human resources management or a related field
HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) experience
Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential information
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and able to build rapport quickly
Customer service mindset with problem-solving ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in social media and communications
Call center or other customer-facing role experience
Process improvement or Continuous Improvement experience
Familiarity with ticketing/case management systems (e.g., Helix)
Experience coordinating large projects across multiple locations
Provide HR support by answering questions, resolving cases, and guiding employees through processes
Maintain HR systems and ensure accuracy in documentation, data entry, and compliance
Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, tuition reimbursements, and recognition requests
Support onboarding, background checks, drug screens, and leaves of absence
Partner with HR to resolve escalated issues and provide updates
Assist with communications and social media initiatives
Contribute to process improvements and provide backup support for HR Service Center team members
