Position Summary

The Manager, Pharmacy Pickup Innovation drives strategic innovation across pharmacy pickup point-of-sale (POS) workflows and tools to deliver best-in-class experiences for patients, customers, and Pharmacy colleagues. The role owns end-to-end solution delivery from design reviews and requirements through pilots, deployment, adoption feedback loops, and ongoing monitoring, while managing the POS platform that enables enterprise pharmacy pickup offerings and services. The role also leads intake, prioritization, and implementation of compliance, regulatory, and growth offers at pickup, including oversight of connected operational processes and vendor partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-functional delivery plans that reduce risk, accelerate adoption, and improve pharmacy pickup experiences at scale, using data and field feedback to prioritize high-value work and monitor key pickup processes and performance

  • Develop and maintain a long-term roadmap for pharmacy pickup tools, workflows, and policies, owning execution across products and processes with clear timelines, dependencies, and success measures

  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and release plans, partnering with Operations, Technology, and Compliance to ensure solutions are ready for scale and deliver sustained, measurable improvement post-rollout

  • Continuously improve pickup workflows by learning from pilots, field feedback, and post-deployment insights, seeking input from Pharmacy colleagues and partners, and applying a growth mindset to balance compliance, growth, and operational efficiency

  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability while scaling high-impact pickup innovations across the enterprise, ensuring messaging, processes, and tools support a consistent, streamlined experience for patients and Pharmacy teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting

  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including occasional multi-day trips to various locations (air travel included)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with team members and key stakeholders

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment, effectively balancing remote and in-office work while maintaining high levels of productivity and communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy setting

  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives

  • Proficiency or experience using analytics tools such as SQL for data analysis and reporting

  • PharmD


Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
