THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to bridge business needs with technical integrations, focusing on EDI/B2B processes, data transformation, and system optimization. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing requirements, designing functional specifications, and ensuring seamless interoperability across both On-prem and cloud-based platforms and legacy systems. This role requires strong stakeholder collaboration to align integrations with operational goals in fast-paced environment, particularly in e-Commerce, logistics, and retail sectors, relevant to sports and entertainment.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze business requirements and design functional specifications for EDI/B2B/N2C/Intra company integrations, including translation maps and processes on platforms like Boomi, Workato, or Azure Logic Apps

• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, independent software vendors, executives, and IT teams to translate complex integration concepts and requirements into actionable, business-aligned solutions

• Conduct gap analysis and optimize integration libraries to consolidate processes, reduce costs, enhance error visibility, and improve system performance

• Act as subject matter expert in ERP migrations, technical troubleshooting, and vendor operations, sharing insights across logistics, accounting, IT, and leadership

• Design and implement automated workflows for inventory management, purchase orders, and procurement to drive cost savings and eliminate manual processes

• Streamline vendor onboarding and intake with 3rd party EDI VANs, reducing average times and boosting trading partner satisfaction through efficient functional designs

• Lead functional aspects of system re-platforming and modernization, migrating EDI suites to cloud environments while phasing out legacy systems

• Support integrations with ISVs such as Shopify, TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, and others, ensuring compliance and scalability

• Facilitate global integration initiatives with international partners and value-added networks for cross-border alignment in supply chains and operations

• Administer SaaS platforms as primary escalation contact, resolving issues and optimizing performance between operations and IT

• Deliver solutions using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies, including detailed documentation for users and partners

• Perform post-production monitoring, functional testing, and support to uphold process integrity and SLA compliance

• Train analysts, developers, and users on self-service tools and troubleshooting for integration issues

• Collaborate on enterprise-grade solutions to enhance on-time performance, inventory accuracy, and overall operational efficiency

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• 10+ years in integration analysis, with 5+ years in senior functional roles focused on EDI architecture, data transformation, and business analysis

Skills and Abilities

• Expertise in ETL, integration best practices, and B2B/B2C operations, including:

• Standards & Formats: ANSI X12, XML, JSON, SAP iDoc, and CSV.

• Protocols & Connectivity: AS2, (S)FTP, APIs, Storage Queues, Service Bus

• Proficiency in cloud platforms: Azure Logic Apps, AWS S3, API Management, Databases, Storage.

• Experience with tools: Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Shopify, Jira, Postman

• Experience with integration platforms such as Boomi and similar technologies

• Familiarity with ISV ecosystems: TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, and familiar with other EDI 3rd parties and services.

• Proven track record in cross-industry projects (e.g., Logistics, e-Commerce, Healthcare, Finance, Grocery) and global initiatives.

• Strong skills in technical translation for non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in mass data processing, SQL, automation scripts, reporting, Lucene searching, barcode symbologies, and inventory control.
