Job Title: Alcohol Compliance Representative
Department: Operations / Guest Services
Reports To: Event Food & Beverage Operations/ Office Manager or Compliance Manager
Position Summary
The Alcohol Compliance Representative is responsible for ensuring all alcohol service at the event venue complies with local, state, and federal laws, as well as venue policies. This role promotes safe, responsible alcohol consumption, verifies legal drinking age, and supports staff in maintaining compliance standards during events.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in hospitality, event operations, security, or alcohol service preferred
- Certification in Responsible Beverage Service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred or required within a specified time
- Strong knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations (local/state)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays
