1. IBP Process Leadership, Execution & Enhancement (2-ALAM-SCM-9141-P)
Lead the monthly IBP cycle, ensuring high-quality execution & effectiveness of Portfolio, Demand, Supply, Collaboration and Financial Reconciliation reviews.
Facilitate global alignment between Sales, Product Management, Operations, Quality and Finance to create a single, constrained global plan.
Prepare and present escalation topics for the Executive Business Review (EBR), focusing on a 4–16 month planning horizon.
Identify & implement enhancement opportunities to improve overall effectiveness of the process
2. Global Supply & Inventory Optimization
Inventory Control: Monitor, maintain & achieve target DOI levels. Facilitate the optimization of Raw Materials, WIP & Finished Goods DOI to ensure supply reliability while preventing overstock and avoiding stockouts.
Capacity Planning: Anticipate and identify global supply constraints (manufacturing, quality or logistics) and develop or facilitate clear mitigation and resource allocation plans.
Fleet & Logistics: Coordinate with Logistics to optimize transport (Sea vs. Air) and Asset Management for packaging/canister fleet requirements to balance capital investment with supply reliability and ensure availability of containers where and when required.
3. Leadership & Change Management
Team Development: Manage and mentor a team of four Global Planners across the US and Asia, fostering a culture of high performance and planning expertise. Influence & catalyze the development of planning expertise across the organization.
Strategic Evolution: Maximize global profitability and supply reliability by aligning revenue & volume growth with strategic capital investments in asset infrastructure and manufacturing capacity.
Performance Culture: Act as a change agent within the Supply Chain Leadership Team to improve global KPI performance, customer trust while exercising radical candor in driving individual and departmental performance and accountability.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in multi-site, complex, or high-dependency material planning.
Leadership: Proven experience building and leading global/remote teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
Technical: Proficiency with Tier-1 MRP solutions (SAP preferred) and advanced digital applications for supply chain execution.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights.
Experience in specialty chemicals, semiconductors, or the electronics material industry.
Professional certification (APICS, ASCM, ISM, or CSCMP).
Continuous improvement expertise (Lean Six Sigma, VSM, or DMAIC).Performance "Scorecard" (KPI Framework)
Once hired, the Manager should be measured against the following metrics derived from your IBP and Scope documents:
Demand- Forecast Accuracy / Bias, Reduce volatility in the 3–16 month horizon.
Supply- OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), Increase customer trust through proactive fulfillment.
Inventory- Customer DOI & Internal DOH, Maintain contract service levels; minimize Obsolete inventory. 0 stock outs at customer locations.
Efficiency- Capacity Utilization, Optimize asset use across US, Asia and France sites.
Day 1-30: Facilitate Realignment of Global Planning product assignments to match ALAM’s evolving portfolio and geographic shift. Establish 1-on-1s with the 4 direct reports.
Day 31-60: Take ownership of the monthly IBP meeting cycle. Identify the top 3 supply/demand gaps in the current 2026 outlook.
Day 61-90: Propose a "standardization plan" for the Asia vs. US planning teams to ensure both regions are utilizing the same logic and tools as part of the Org Evolution.
