Here's What You'll Need:
Must be a licensed Architect.
5+ years of professional experience required.
Must demonstrate proficiency in using Revit Architecture.
Ability to use ACAD, Photoshop, SketchUp or other 3D Modeling, Animation, Rendering computer graphics programs a plus.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors.
Here’s How You’ll Stand Out:
Demonstrated experience leading design efforts on K-12 educational projects from concept through design development
Strong design portfolio showcasing innovative, functional, and client-focused solutions across large-scale or complex projects
Advanced proficiency in visual communication, including hand sketching, digital rendering, and presentation graphics
Ability to translate client vision and educational programming into compelling, buildable design concepts
Experience collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Proven success presenting design concepts to clients, school districts, or governing bodies with confidence and clarity
Strong understanding of current trends in educational design, including flexibility, safety, and student-centered environments
Experience mentoring junior designers and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing design culture
Ability to balance creativity with technical feasibility, budget considerations, and project timelines
Familiarity with planning processes, stakeholder engagement, and public-sector project delivery
