About the Role
Responsible for the operation, calibration, maintenance, and repair processes of equipment and automated systems. Monitors and schedules the calibrations and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with SOP and maintenance requirements.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Monitor the calibration and maintenance cycles for all equipment and ensures completion according to predetermined schedules

  • Perform applicable routine calibrations, qualifications, maintenance and repair

  • Coordinate with internal departments and outside service vendors on completion of maintenance, calibration and repair activities in a timely manner

  • Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and complete minor repairs, as necessary

  • Perform incoming inspections on new and existing equipment and assists with installation as needed

  • Contribute to the development, review and revision of equipment quality management systems (e.g., electronic data capture systems, department policies/SOPs/work instructions)

  • Assist in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the servicing of equipment

  • Review study/facility data for completeness

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Associate’s or technical degree specializing in a scientific discipline preferred, education and experience may substitute

  • High School diploma required

  • 1+ years experience managing equipment in a regulated environment preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, SharePoint and project management tools

  • English proficiency for reading, writing and verbal communication used to interpret industry specific documents, write reports and routine correspondence, and speak effectively to customers and employees

  • Basic math skills

  • Scientific writing or electronic publishing preferred
