Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Analysis Department Manager 3. This position is located in Roy, UT.

What you will do:
Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with Program Partners, Senior Management, Peers, and Employees.
Provides ownership for the people, processes, and tools that support business areas and programs in achieving their missions.
Develops and manages key metrics across the Analysis Organization for performance related to program execution.
Accountability for recruiting, staffing, and retaining talent to deliver on program objectives.
Supporting proposal work, independent technical reviews, program standup and audits, and special assignments on an as needed basis.
Owning and leading improvements across employee engagement, hiring, development, training, attraction, and retention of top talent.
Mentor, develop, and train your section managers, and overall employee base.
Identify and Deploy Functional Homeroom Initiatives to shape and build Program Partnership, Technical Rigor, and Empowered Teams
Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
The ideal candidate will create and manage high performing teams while providing technical, administrative and management expertise in the day to day activities required to successfully execute complex engineering programs.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 8 years of experience; 6 years with Master’s;
Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).
Must have the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
Minimum of 3 years in a formal management position.
Minimum of 5 years of proven demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
General understanding of NG Engineering Processes
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Proven performance as an Engineering Leader in all phases of acquisition, design, integration, and execution. Candidate will require ability to rapidly assess and lend guidance to projects assigned to the organizational group as well as demonstrated mentoring and guidance to engineers.
Working knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines with a key emphasis on Analysis tools and process.
Ability to lead and shape an organization in the advancement of modern analytical principals and tools.
Ability to lead a large team of diverse technical experts in the successful execution of Structural Analysis, Thermal Analysis, Fluid Analysis, and other associated Analysis to ensure compliance to the technical baseline.
Expert in a diverse range of analysis tools and process
Experience on ICBMs
Experience creating or growing new sections or departments.
Experience managing an engineering team
Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira
Active TS Clearance. Program Access.
