The Respiratory Intern I will perform a variety of support functions to prepare and maintain equipment and supplies as needed by the respiratory staff.
Sets up patient care rooms for admissions and cleans patient care equipment as dictated by hospital and department policy and procedures.
Restocks equipment and supplies as needed maintaining appropriate levels per department guidelines.
*This is a paid position with a work schedule of every other weekend to allow for focus on school during the week.
Incumbents of Intern I role will be eligible for transition to the Respiratory Therapy Intern II position, upon completion of first year in respiratory program and ongoing enrollment in second year in a Respiratory Therapy program and based upon ongoing acceptable employee performance and position availability.
