About the Position
We’re looking for a hands-on Building Technician to keep our LINK campus clean, safe, and running at its best. This role blends facilities maintenance with janitorial support—whether it’s troubleshooting HVAC, changing filters, power washing patios, or keeping restrooms spotless, you’ll play a key part in creating a first-class workplace.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and janitorial duties across building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire/life safety, landscaping, and cleanliness).

  • Complete preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, inspections, and minor repairs.

  • Keep common areas (restrooms, breakrooms, lobbies, pathways, outdoor spaces) clean, sanitized, and hazard-free.

  • Support events and special projects including setups, breakdowns, and inspections.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.

  • Track and complete work orders, document maintenance activity, and manage supply inventories.

  • Communicate with employees, vendors, and the property team to resolve issues and provide updates.

  • Follow safety protocols and stay current on evolving building technologies and best practices.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in commercial property maintenance and janitorial services (or equivalent).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a customer-service mindset.

  • Familiarity with Energy Management Systems, work order systems (JIRA/Trello), and fire alarm systems preferred.

  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks required for maintenance and janitorial work.

  • Vocational/technical training or certifications a plus.

  • Commitment to Power Design’s values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
