Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of high school diploma and one year experience. Minimum of 21 years of age. USA Citizenship at time of appointment. To be eligible for appointment candidates cannot have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor domestic violence crime as set forth in 18 U.S.C. & 992 (g) (8) and (9). Successful completion of background investigation.

Position Description:

The Traffic Officer will be responsible for patrolling at assigned locations during University of Louisville athletic events for non-moving violations, making accident reports, as well as overseeing assigned Traffic Guards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform patrol work of assigned areas for non-moving violations.

  • Investigate reported accidents and make accident reports.

  • Direct flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic during emergencies.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
