Senior Data Insights Strategist
Samsung has developed a proprietary ad platform that leverages unique first party TV data to help brands connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets and our SMART TVs. The Samsung Ads Platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory.
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Insights Strategist to lead the charge in transforming data into strategic advantage for Samsung and its clients. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, media performance and client strategy- ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering insights, measuring impact and guiding decision-making backed by data. The individual will have a deep understanding of the TV/CTV media ecosystem and how to consultatively advise clients on their media strategy and performance using advanced analytics. Their key contribution is to help our customers extract more value out of the Samsung relationship and Samsung Ads’ products. They create advanced analytics and data insights to help advise clients’ media activation strategies and outcome measurement across Samsung’s proprietary and programmatic platforms.
It’s key for this individual to have a pulse on how brands and the media agency community is thinking about and allocating client video spend to reserved and programmatic channels and what data-backed solutions they need to do so more seamlessly. They must have an excellent understanding of the business objectives that brand leaders and their agencies are tasked with fulfilling throughout the complex, multi-screen journey.
This Senior Data Strategist must be well-versed in the wide range of strategies, tactics, methodologies and technologies that marketing analytics leaders have at their disposal to support their goals. They must be able to think strategically and uncover data insight needs that will contribute to clients’ investment decisions and campaign performance optimization. Using their deep understanding of Samsung’s TV and mobile data, they will create advanced analytics that inform audience and campaign placement strategies. They will create and implement measurement frameworks to evaluate and optimize campaign performance working with first party data and third party measurement providers.
This executive will be the consummate team-player and have the ability to work collaboratively across Engineering, Data Insights and client facing teams within a fluid and fast paced environment.
This Senior Data Insights Strategist position is based in New York with domestic US travel as needed and will report to our Head of Data Insights. Skills and Qualifications
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $170,000 and $210,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
