About The Opportunity

Accounting Intern (Summer 2026)

Position Summary

This position works closely with Corporate Accounting. This position will perform routing accounting activities such as preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports and fixed asset functions.  You will have guidance from a mentor on the Accounting team as well as be included in Menasha Corporation’s Intern Program, which focuses on connection, experience building, and professional development.

 

Essential to this Position

The Accounting Intern will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Accounting with projects starting in summer of 2026.

Areas of Learning/Responsibilities

  • Prepares, processes, and codes invoices, ensuring payment within terms

  • Compiles and maintains accurate financial information to prepare entries to accounts

  • Prepares and reviews reports and data, monitoring for accuracy and completeness

  • Assists with month-end closing transactions including preparation of key reports

  • Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders

  • Reconciles accounts, ledgers, and reports

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives for accounting process and information flow

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related degree

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to analyze data, make judgements and develop reports

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat

  • Ability to be discreet in dealing with sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality in all areas.

  • Excellent organizational skills
