Position Overview:

The Software Engineer Intern in IT Clinical Solutions will support the team by assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technical support tickets related to clinical applications and systems. Additionally, the intern will contribute to regulatory reporting efforts, helping to analyze, organize, and modify data elements to ensure accurate and compliant internal and external reporting. This role offers hands-on experience in both software support and data management within a healthcare technology environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of internal business applications.

  • Collaborate with team members to gather and document requirements for automation initiatives.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities.

  • Contribute to technical documentation and process improvement efforts.

  • Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools.

  • Assists in producing quality enterprise information systems of application architectures that meet or exceed client expectations on operations and strategic projects.

  • Develop and maintain internal systems or applications involving various programming languages.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Cumulative GPA: 3.0 preferred; 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA.

  • Familiarity with development technologies such as C#, MS SQL Server, SSIS, Databricks, Azure (Power Apps/BI and ADF preferable), and XML or comparable computing language as approved by the hiring manager (i.e. .Net, SQL, Python, ETL Tools

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
