Job Highlights:

A Qualified Professional (10A NCAC 27G .0104) must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  • Bachelor degree (non Human Services) with 4 years full time experience with the population served required

  • Associate or Bachelor degree (Human Services) with 2 years full time experience with the population served required

  • Master degree (Human Services) with 1 year full time experience with the population served required

This Opportunity:

The Residential Team Leader, Floater provides leadership and operational oversight across multiple residential programs within LTSS. This role ensures continuity of care, compliance with regulatory standards, and support for staff and individuals served. The Residential Team Leader, Floater steps in to cover vacancies, assist with transitions, and maintain quality service delivery across assigned locations.

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Supervision

  • Provide direct supervision and coaching to residential staff during temporary assignments.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and person-centered practices.

Operational Support

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor health, safety, and quality standards in residential settings.

Individual Support

  • Advocate for individuals’ rights and preferences, ensuring person-centered planning and service delivery.
  • Respond to emergencies and critical incidents promptly and effectively.

Team Development

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Support team morale and engagement during transitions or staffing shortages.

Flexibility

  • Travel between multiple residential sites as needed.
  • Adapt to varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education We're Looking For:

Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (dependent upon experience) (Required)

Certifications We're Looking For:

Drivers License (Valid) - USA, Qualified Professional (QP) - Monarch-DSM

Experience We're Looking For:

Experience overseeing daily operations of residential programs | 2 years | Required
Experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential, community, or day program settings | 3 years | Required
Experience working with the population served | 3-4 years (Dependent Upon Education - see Job Description) | Required
Management Experience | 3 years | Required

Schedule:

Monday-Friday (8am-5pm) with availability after hours, weekends, and holidays.
