About the Position

Power Design has an exciting opportunity for an Evening Custodian to join the organization at our warehouse and manufacturing facilities located in Palmetto, Fl. This is a critical position working within our Property Management team, providing support from 6 pm to 2:30 am.

Position Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Dust furniture, walls, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Perform general laborer work and miscellaneous tasks as needed and assigned by Facilities Manager or Property Manager.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated commercial and industrial floor cleaning machine experience is required.
• 2-3 years commercial verifiable cleaning experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively with a team and independently as needed to support the group effort.
• Ability to stand or be on feet for good portion of shift.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on occasion.
• Ability to accommodate 6 pm to 2:30 am work schedule.
