JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Summary of the Job:
A Registered Nurse Executive Leadership Team member with organizational accountability, responsible for the management, planning and development of the clinical practice of nursing throughout the health system. Is responsible for the provision of highly reliable and cost-effective patient care. Is accountable for establishing alignment with the medical staff and supporting departments. Is accountable for ensuring nursing, medical and operational strategies and goals are achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Louisiana Registered Nurse licensure. Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or MBA. Seven+ years' experience at senior executive level healthcare position preferred. Demonstrated competence in the management of complex problems and new project development. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively collaborate with physicians, colleagues and public.
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
