This Clinic Secretary Assistant (CSA) position supports the Milwaukee Mental Health Walk-In Clinic and Connections Clinic, which are in the same suite on the Main Campus in Milwaukee. The Walk-In Clinic services patients and their families who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The Connections Clinic offers outpatient therapy to patients who need additional support with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and suicidality.
The CSA is responsible for greeting families, checking patients in and out, scheduling follow up appointments, gathering consent, answering phones, and documenting in Epic.
Experience working in a mental health setting or clinic is preferred, but not required.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8am to 1pm, with some flexibility.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining smooth and efficient flow of patients in clinic, performing functions delegated by nursing and physician staff and maintaining and promoting a safe, clean and organized environment for the delivery of care. Also provides clerical support for the assigned clinic.
