A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE 

The Senior Accounting Manager manages the accounting function of the Acquire Intelligence Group of Companies to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, corporate policies and external audits and statutory reporting requirements. The position oversees the delivery of the accounting group that includes but not limited to management and statutory financial reporting, revenue and receivables, expenses, payables and disbursements 

As Senior Accounting Manager you are responsible in ensuring that all employment and personal information of employees are kept and handled in accordance with existing company policies on Information Security and Data Privacy. 

Your key responsibilities are the following:  

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING and REPORTING 

Manages the overall financial accounting system of the  entire Group and the generation of the Companies’ results of operations and financial position as of a given period. 

Oversees the monthly and annual financial close process and ensures that all transactions are recorded properly and correctly 

Responsible for all financial reports.  Accountable to timely and accurate reporting of financial performance of the group 

Responsible for maintaining the Companies’ books of accounts, consolidated, and individual, using the accounting system prescribed by the management 

Ensures that the Companies adhere to policies and procedures and internal controls  

In-charge with coordination and compliance with all the requirements of external auditor to ensure a clean audited financial statement opinion 

Works with Legal Compliance Manager in ensuring compliance with all statutory reports for all government agencies of the Philippines 

Responsible for financial statutory requirements of non-Philippine entities 

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT 

Supports the CFO and Group Finance Controller in all management reports specifically monthly, reports and other ad-hoc reports to Corporate Finance  

Highlights significant results and  issues through timely and accurate management report analysis 

Works with CFO and Group Finance Controller and other members of executive team in special projects  

Liaises and work with external counsels and advisers to ensure compliance and appropriateness of decisions and treatment of financial transactions, if needed 

Manages a team of professionals and responsible for their development and growth 

Coaches, supervises, and leads the team to be highly analytical and be of added value to the business, not only by meeting the set goals but by excelling in their respective tasks 

Other related tasks that may be delegated by the immediate superior from time to time 

A BIT ABOUT YOU 

With a degree of Bachelor of Science major in Accountancy 

5 to 10 years’ experience working in accounting, 5 years in managerial capacity 

CPA is required 

Systems experience with an Accounting Platform 

Proven track record in a similar role 

High systems proficiency including robust excel skills

Timely processing/payment of company obligations 

Meeting KPIs and SLAs set by the department and immediate manager
