Saint Anselm College, a Catholic, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking a highly-skilled, part-time (20 hours), temporary (January to May 2026) Simulation Educator to join the Sheila Evjy Center for Health Sciences.
Reporting to the Faculty Director, the Simulation Educator is responsible for educating pre-licensure students in the Evjy Center for Health Sciences Simulation. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in nursing education at the undergraduate level.
Essential Duties:
- Teaching clinical skills
- Participating in simulations
- Setting up and breaking down labs and simulations
- Providing remediation for students
- Helping develop tools to enhance student learning
- Assisting with maintenance of equipment and supplies needed for student learning
- Assisting with scheduling or other lab-related duties as directed by the Faculty Director and the Coordinator for Clinical Simulation Teaching and Learning.
Qualifications:
- BSN required, Master’s degree preferred
- Proficiency with simulation technology preferred
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred
General:
- Employees must regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds; frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to do fine motor work, hear, speak, and walk. Employees are frequently required to bend, reach, sit, squat, and stand.
