Job Summary
Directs the construction activities across multiple projects consisting of the construction of new, modifications and demolition to existing AEP Generation facilities in specified region or area of specialty. Provide guidance, instruction, training and effective communications to Site Construction Managers or designees to ensure projects are initiated, planned, executed, monitored and controlled, and closed in a safe, efficient and economical manner to achieve short and long range goals and to obtain maximum customer satisfaction and profitable performance. Direct the execution of assigned PC&C projects and support the planning and scheduling effort in conjunction with the Project Management group. Provide leadership, develop partnerships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders including internal customers (plant management teams), external customers, team members, suppliers, contractors, vendors, labor, governmental agencies, and industry peers.Job Description
The selected candidate MUST maintain residency within AEP’s western service territory, with a strong preference for proximity to Tulsa, OK or Hallsville, TX.

$132,562.00 - $172,331.00The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
